Cerveza Straus
Rosario, Argentina
From the city of Rosario, Straus Beer is made from sorghum. It is the first in Argentina of this type. The Straus Beer project has been underway for several years, but it was not until 2013 that they received national authorization and with this they managed to grow as a company and sell throughout the country. Jésica Espósito and Guillermo Lione are responsible for this venture that came to light in 2010. With national authorisation since 2013, Cerveza Straus is produced artisanally with an approximate volume of 650 litres per month, about 1,200 330ml bottles, a measure equivalent to a half pint, better known as "pinina".
